weli. Green Light

Which AI tools are safe for your business, which aren't — and your first fix running before we hang up.

One 45-minute conversation and a report. Every tool you already use gets a plain-language verdict; three to seven more get prescribed. Then we install the first win live, on the call.

You've tried ChatGPT. You know AI could save you time, but you don't know which tools are real, which are safe to put client data into, and you don't have a weekend to find out.

If you don't leave the review call with three clear verdicts and a fix already running, you don't pay.

The verdict

Shown, not told.

Every tool in your report gets one of three words. Here's what that actually looks like — real tools and one very common habit, checked 2026-07-29 against each vendor's own policy.

Green
Crisp (live chat)
Where the data goesEU — Amsterdam
Trains on your data?No — stated explicitly: never trains its AI on customer data
The cleanest policy of the 30 tools we've checked so far. This is what "safe by default" looks like.

Fine to keep running — just know your Canadian vendor stores client data offshore, and tell clients if they ask.

Red
Free-tier chatbot, client files pasted in
Where the data goesWherever the free tier's terms say — often kept, sometimes used for training
Trains on your data?On many free tiers, yes — that's the price of free
The most common red isn't a tool — it's a habit. The fix takes an afternoon, and your report includes the smallest workable exit.

The data map

Where your data actually goes.

Thirty tools, checked one policy at a time. This is what we found.

I checked 30 tools small businesses actually use. Not one offers Canadian data residency. Four Canadian-headquartered vendors — Jobber, Proposify, FreshBooks, Wave — all state in their own policies that data may be stored or processed outside the country. I read the policy so you don't have to.

How it works

Four steps. About two hours of your time, total.

01

Intake

A short form about your business, what you already use, and where your time goes.

45 minutes

02

Discovery call

A recorded conversation. We ask, you talk — no pitching yet.

03

Report

Every tool you use gets a verdict. Three to seven more get prescribed, each with cost and setup time.

60 minutes

04

Review call

We walk the report together and install your first fix live — you watch it start working.

We add and fix — we don't rip out your stack. Most verdicts land Green or Yellow. Red is rare, and it always comes with the smallest workable way out. The prescriptions are additions on top of what already works, chosen for fit, not for the sake of change.

The report

Your report: eight pages, plain language, a verdict per tool, and the math on what each fix saves.

  • eight pages
  • a verdict per tool
  • cost and setup time
  • the math on what each fix saves

The guarantee

Falsifiable, same day.

"By the end of the review call you'll have at least three specific tools with a clear use-it-or-don't verdict, and your first fix already running. If not, you pay nothing."

And if you go ahead with implementation: 100% of the report fee credits toward it, as long as you start within 60 days. If you go ahead, the assessment was free.

Price

One honest ladder — no surprise invoice.

Now — first 5 clients current rate

Clients 6–10

After the first three written testimonials.

$749

Clients 11+

After two published case studies.

$999

Invoiced after the review call, by Interac e-Transfer or card. No payment button on this page — nobody should have to pre-pay a report before talking to the person writing it.

The price only goes up from here — the founding rate is a real cutoff, not a marketing countdown.

Why this is different

The column nobody else checks.

Not a quiz

A free quiz scores you

It doesn't read a single privacy policy, and it doesn't know your business. You get a number, not a decision.

Not a chatbot

ChatGPT lists tools

It won't tell you where your client data ends up if you use them, because it hasn't checked either.

Not a funnel

A vendor's free audit sells their tool

I don't sell any tool I recommend. There's no commission riding on which box you check.

Who's writing your verdicts

Seventeen years keeping enterprise data where it belongs.

I've spent my career in enterprise infrastructure, identity, and security — the systems large organizations trust to keep data in the right place. That's the background behind every verdict in your report: I read the vendor's actual policy before I recommend anything.

FAQ

Before you start.

Go ahead — it'll give you a list. It won't tell you where your client data ends up if you use any of them, because it hasn't read the vendors' policies either. That reading is the actual work.

There are free scorecards and quizzes out there, and they're a fine starting point. None of them read nine privacy policies for your specific stack, and none installs a working fix on the call. That's what the fee pays for.

Good — that's most of the report done before we start. Every tool you already run gets its own verdict and, where it needs one, a named setting to flip. You're not paying to be told to start over.

No. Add-on first is the whole approach — we verdict what you already have and prescribe additions on top of it. Replacement only comes up when a tool is a genuine liability, and even then we start with the smallest workable fix, not a rebuild.

The discovery call is recorded so I can focus on the conversation instead of taking notes — I'm the only person who watches it. Writing your report involves cloud AI tools, the same kind we'll be talking about, which means your answers may be processed outside Canada. I keep what goes into those tools to the minimum needed, and I never use one whose terms let it train on your information. You can ask for a different process — just say so.
