Engagement 01
Readiness & AI Assessment.
2–6 weeks. Ends in a signed readiness report.
Most engagements begin here.
What we examine
Six dimensions. Every one documented.
Governance & policy
Who approved what. What's in writing. What's not.
Data classification
What data is in scope. Where it lives. Whether it can legally move.
Infrastructure & security
Cloud vs on-prem. Access controls. Egress policy.
Existing AI usage
What tools are actually in use, approved or not.
Team capability
Who understands the tools. Who's been trained. Who owns the risk.
Audit trail
What evidence exists. What's missing. What an auditor would ask for.
Deliverable
A signed report. Not a presentation.
The readiness report documents current state, gaps, and a prioritised remediation roadmap. It's versioned, signed, and formatted for internal review boards, external auditors, or procurement processes.
FAQ
Common questions about this engagement.
How is the assessment scored?
It isn't scored on a single number. Each of the six dimensions is evaluated independently and documented with evidence. The output is a structured report, not a traffic-light dashboard.
Do you produce evidence our auditor will accept?
Yes. The report format is designed to satisfy common regulatory frameworks. We don't use proprietary formats that require us to interpret them later.
Do we need the readiness audit before architecture design?
Strongly recommended. The architecture design engagement uses the readiness report as its foundation. Designing without it means designing without a map.
