Who sent the message

weli. Answered is an automated assistant. It answers people who call, text, email or fill in a form for a business, by text, email or an AI voice on the phone. Each message or call names that business. weli. (weli.ai) sends it on the business's behalf and follows the business's instructions. It is software, not a person, and the business reads the conversations.

How to stop messages

• Reply STOP to any text.
• Reply UNSUBSCRIBE to any email.
• Or email hello@weli.ai and tell us which number or email address to remove.

A STOP reply takes effect right away. We do not send further messages after one last confirmation. You can also ask us to delete your information.

What we collect

• Your phone number or email address.
• Your messages to the assistant.
• Transcripts of calls and voicemails you leave.
• The date and time of each contact.

We use it so the business can reply to you quickly and knows why you contacted it. We do not sell or rent it. We do not use it to train AI models.

Where it is stored

The assistant runs on services based in the United States. They handle workflow, phone and text, the AI that writes the messages, and email. Your information is stored and processed outside Canada and may be subject to the laws of those countries.

How long we keep it

• Conversation records are kept for 90 days, and a copy goes to the business.
• Consent records and opt-outs are kept while the business uses the service.
• When the business stops using weli. Answered, we export everything to the business and delete our copies within 7 days.
• If you opted out, we then keep only a scrambled (hashed) version of your number or email for 3 years. This stops anyone from contacting you again if the business restarts the service.
